Smart About Money is one of the many programs of the National Endowment for Financial Education®. NEFE® is an independent, nonprofit foundation committed to educating Americans on a broad range of financial topics and empowering them to make positive and sound decisions to reach their financial goals. Their website contains a number of simple, free tools and courses to help you manage your finances through life's ups and downs.

Family Finances

From ISU Extension & Outreach, you will find a variety of articles, information, and resources on topics such as health insurance, finances of caregiving, and home-buying. 

Financial Consultation

As an ISU employee, you and your family members have access to the employee assistance program, managed by Employee & Family Resources. Benefits include financial consultation over the phone, a financial check-up, financial library, and a large variety of tools and resources - all at no cost to you!
